Activities: The Algarve Coastal Cycle Route – Ecovia
do Litoral
Available
as a 7 nights/6 cycling days holiday, or a
5 night/4 cycling days holiday
The Ecovia do litoral is a dedicated
cycle route in Portugal that links Cape St
Vicent (Sagres) in the west to Vila Real de
San António on the Spanish border.
This cycle route combines trails
in nature protection areas with linking stretches
on traffic calmed or car-free routes. With
a total of 214 km, the Ecovia do Litoral runs
across 12 Algarve municipalities.
Activity Algarve have been providing
the 5 night/4 day cycling holiday along this
route for over two years now and many clients
have thoroughly enjoyed the journey along
this route . Although the 214km is achievable
within 4 days of cycling, this does not allow
a lot of time for sightseeing and relaxation
along the way, so in response to feedback
from our clients, we decided to also offer
a 7 night and 6 cycling day holiday option.
The 7 night option provides more relaxing
cycling days and allows more time to explore
the interesting towns along the way. Each
of the 7 nights hotels are located in interesting
places where there are a choice of places
to eat and explore.
